The new Bernabeu can host many sports event
Dana White, the current president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), stated on Saturday that he appreciates the Santiago Bernabéu stadium in Spain and is thinking about maybe moving the UFC to Spain shortly.
He inquired, “Covered?” after learning that the venue can hold roughly 80,000 seats, but that number may drop to roughly 35,000 for special events.
He then underlined his interest in the Bernabéu after receiving an encouraging response, saying, “If there’s an arena available, we’ll bring UFC to Spain.”
Following the Spanish-Georgian fighter Ilia Topuria was crowned the UFC featherweight champion this Saturday in Anaheim, California, USA, White responded, “I like it,” when questioned about the Real Madrid stadium as a potential venue for a new UFC event. The president of the most respected mixed martial arts (MMA) organisation questioned the Spanish media covering the fight, asking, “How many people does it hold?”
Shortly after Topuria won the featherweight title, he made these remarks, which raised his fame internationally and established MMA in Spain.

Nicknamed “The Matador,” Topuria made history tonight by unseating Australian Alexander Volkanovski for the featherweight title via knockout in the second round.
Topuria fought at the Honda Centre in Anaheim, California. He was calm and strategic in the first round, but in the second, he was able to press his opponent against the cage and finish the fight with a strong right hand.
“Topuria is an absolute star (…) He’s great, he had a tremendous performance. If he keeps it up, he’ll be very important (for UFC) in the future,” White said.
