There are many candidates to dethrone Manchester City’s domination

In light of progressing from the group of death this season, Luis Enrique’s side are one of the favourites for a UCL triumph this year. With the trio of Mbappe, Ramos and Dembele in attack this season, they have enough firepower to mount a series title push.

They have defied all odds to advance from a group consisting of AC Milan, Dortmund and Newcastle United. With a significant lead in Ligue 1, they can now focus on Real Sociedad in the Champions League.

2. Real Madrid

Having won the competition numerous times in the past, Real Madrid are red hot favourites this season due to their form. With the addition of Jude Bellingham, they have looked an impressive team and has won all of their matches in the group stages.

Their biggest threat will be RB Leipzig, who they have already faced last year, who will be a tough opponent for them. Nevertheless, Carlo Ancelotti knows his side have the mentality to win this competition and with the experience they have in this competition, they will be a team to watch

With Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland returning from injuries, the reigning European champions are stronger than ever. Pep Guardiola will be delighted to face Copenhagen rather than any other top team at this early stage. With the team winning all the matches in the group, they will be confident to win back-to-back titles. Team has also returned to their old selves after being at their best in recent matches.
