Barcelona make Hummel as next jersey sponsor if they make Puma their sponor
Journalist Gerard Romero claims that if Barcelona’s agreement with Puma breaks through, they would consider the German-founded Danish manufacturing business Hummel as a potential replacement for the 2025–26 campaign.
Barcelona and Nike have a current sponsorship agreement that expires in 2026, with the possibility of a two-year extension to 2028. However, the club is currently thinking about changing its clothes brand in order to increase income given the current dynamics of the industry and financial considerations.
Though other choices are being investigated, Puma has emerged as an excellent option for the place of Nike in that regard.
According to the most recent information, Barcelona is looking at other shirt sponsors, and Hummel is one of the choices being considered. According to reports, negotiations to form a possible agreement between the Catalan club and the Danish sports brand are underway.

As a backup plan in case talks with Nike fall through and while they wait to hear from Puma over a possible deal for the 2025–2026 campaign, Hummel will be Barcelona’s uniform supplier.
Note that Hummel already supplies lower-level Spanish clubs as well as La Liga teams like Real Betis and Las Palmas. It also features teams from Denmark, including the national team, alongside Everton and Southampton in the English Premier League.
While the specific financials of the potential Hummel contract are yet unknown, it’s important to understand that Barcelona now receives €105 million a year from its agreement with Nike, while Real Madrid receives €120 million from Adidas. The reason Puma is a raise for Barcelona is that Leipzig’s contract increased from €60 million to €150 million when they switched from Nike to Puma.In a related vein, people with knowledge of the continuing discussions between Barcelona and Puma indicate that a historic agreement including an astounding set figure of €200 million per season may be reached.
