Jack Grealish expected to be sidelined for three weeks with groin injury

Bernardo Silva has also been sidelined after suffering an injury in the Champions League game
Following suffering a devastating groin injury on his return to Manchester City, Jack Grealish is anticipated to be out for two to three weeks.
The England winger went down to the ground and winced in agony as he fought Copenhagen’s Diogo Goncalves for the ball inside the initial half of the match, perhaps suffering from a muscular injury.
Pep Guardiola said that Grealish could have had a groyne injury. Although the 28-year-old briefly returned to the pitch following treatment, Jeremy Doku eventually took his place.
For the England forward, having recently battled for playing time since Doku’s arrival, it was a rare start. In actuality, Grealish has not appeared in a game for City since their FA Cup triumph over Huddersfield on January 7th, which they won 5-0.

In 26 appearances for City so far this season, Grealish has contributed three goals and two assists, however, he has found it difficult to earn a spot in Guardiola’s starting lineup, making only seven Premier League starts.
Having played just 17 minutes of football since the FA Cup third-round match against Huddersfield over five weeks prior, Grealish was making his first start in that time. Guardiola also pushed him to find his previous season’s form last Friday.
Against Copenhagen, City fielded a full health team for the first time this year. All of it began at Parken Stadium on Tuesday night, although they were missing Kevin De Bruyne for five months, Erling Haaland for two, and John Stones for a significant portion of the campaign due to unrelated problems.
The next Premier League matchup between City and Chelsea is on Saturday. On March 6, they host Copenhagen for the second leg of the match.
