Swansea City's Josh Marsh set to join Chelsea as loan manager
Marsh appointment will help Blues find suitable loan clubs for youngsters
Following a report from Fabrizio Romano, Josh Marsh of Swansea City is almost certain to be named loans supervisor by Premier League powerhouse Chelsea. Marsh was appointed in the summer of 2023 and is presently the Head of Football Operations for the Swans.
He didn’t stay long at the Swansea.com Stadium after initially signing from Huddersfield Town back in 2022, but it now appears that he may be heading to the Premier League.
This season, Marsh hasn’t supervised a great deal of success; he watched Michael Duff flounder until Luke Williams took his position.
Williams has occasionally failed to produce wins, and their 4-0 home loss to Leeds United did little to inspire confidence in the Welsh team.
Additionally, he might be leaving them in 17th place in the Championship table, which isn’t too bad given that they performed admirably under Russell Martin the previous season.
According to Romano, he will manage for the Blues, Strasbourg, and other teams that will eventually be a member of the BlueCo group.

Another man Josh Marsh will probably be keeping an eye on is Mason Burstow, a striker who has struggled at Sunderland for the majority of the season. Regarding the individuals present at Stamford Bridge,
Future decisions regarding Cesare Casadei must be carefully considered, or otherwise the young Italian international runs the risk of not realising his full potential.
Although he played for Leicester City for the first half of the season, he didn’t have the finest season under Enzo Maresca and wasn’t among the first names on the roster at King Power Stadium.
They still have several young players who show promise, so Marsh should be happy to be contributing to their growth.
