Karim Benzema left the pitch when told to practice alone

Karim Benzema allegedly disobeyed his manager’s instructions and left an Al-Ittihad training session.

The French striker stomped out of training after Marcelo Gallardo instructed him to practice alone, and as a result, he was pulled out of the squad for Wednesday evening’s Saudi Pro League match against Al-Tai. On Tuesday, Benzema was seen working out at the team’s facilities, but he was limited to using the injured players.

The forward’s attachment to the team has deteriorated in recent weeks as a result of his failure to report to practice on time and his subsequent 17-day delay, which left the club “furious,” according to Marca.

According to one source, Al-Ittihad were unable to get in touch with their player during a ten-day vacation in Mauritius. His failure to impress Gallardo led to his exclusion from the club’s training camp later on. Shortly after joining from Real Madrid, Benzema had urgent conversations with the club’s management.

The winner of the Ballon d’Or was rumoured to be leaving for another team, possibly one in Saudi Arabia, but he ultimately chose to remain. In the summer, Benzema signed a hefty contract that will pay him £86 million a year. The league’s executives are hoping to boost the domestic scene.

When it appeared that he might be able to shorten his stay in Saudi Arabia in January, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Chelsea were among those connected with a move. He also did not move to Lyon, France, as was claimed.

According to reports, Benzema is still unsatisfied in Saudi Arabia and may try to return to Europe. After ending his contract, Jordan Henderson made the decision to leave the Middle Eastern league, which allowed him to sign with Ajax.

For Al-Ittihad, who are now ranked sixth in the Saudi Pro League, Benzema has not yet had the anticipated impact. In addition, the team spent money to sign N’Golo Kante after his Chelsea deal ended and Fabinho from Liverpool.
