Mbappe is reportedly agreed to join Madrid next summer

According to La Liga president Javier Tebas, Real Madrid are expected to acquire PSG forward Kylian Mbappe before the 2024–2025 campaign begins.

Given that Mbappe’s agreement is set to expire in June, there has been a lot of conjecture around the forward from Paris in recent months. He hasn’t stated where he plans to go next, but it looks like he will decide between Madrid and Paris.

Tebas commented on Mbappe’s future in an interview, indicating that he believes Madrid will sign the France captain:

“I said it was around 50% some weeks ago, now is even more”. 55/60% chances? “Yes, I think so”. 🇫🇷 “Every day that passes and Mbappé does not sign the new contract with PSG, the percentage increases”.

Tebas has already publicly supported Madrid’s signing of Mbappe. He declared that March 2023 is the earliest date on which Madrid could reach an agreement, and he mocked the Frenchman for choosing to remain at PSG in 2022, calling Ligue 1 “not competitive.”

The forward has continued to be evasive about his future and acknowledged that he hasn’t decided where he is going to play in the upcoming campaign. PSG, on the other hand, will play Strasbourg in Ligue 1 this weekend with connections to the Champions League and the Coupe de France to come. PSG has a lot on the line.

Javier Tebas speculates that Kylian might sign with Real Madrid, however it’s not entirely clear if this is true. The French forward has stated multiple times that he doesn’t know what the future holds and that he just wants to concentrate on the current PSG season and win as many titles as he can with the Parisian team. The world will never fully understand his response.

The transfer market is the centre of attention before a new season as the summer of 2024 approaches and rumours regarding the future of individual players swirl.
