Liverpool injury update ahead of Luton match; Diogo Jota ruled out

Liverpool are set to miss Jota for months with knee injury
Five Liverpool players are still listed as injured by Jurgen Klopp, with Diogo Jota expected to miss “months” due to a serious knee injury.
The Reds are without several players going into a crucial week, which includes the Premier League visit from Luton only days ahead of the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea.
During Saturday’s 4-1 victory over Brentford, Jota (knee) and Curtis Jones (ankle) were added to the injury list, while Alisson (hamstring) was ruled out in the warm-up.
In addition to Trent Alexander-Arnold (knee), those three players are out of both matches this week, and Dominik Szoboszlai (hamstring) will be unavailable against Luton.
Jota sustained a knee injury, according to Klopp, while Jones has a ligament issue. Alisson may now have extended periods on the sidelines, but no specific timeline has been provided.

Darwin Núñez and Mohamed Salah were the subjects of worries for Klopp, although neither player was discussed. Salah may have re-aggravated his hamstring injury against Brentford, according to Kora Plus in Egypt, and Núñez was substituted at halftime as a precaution.
“Diogo Jota knee issue, ruled out — with him it will take more than a month”.
“Alisson with a muscle injury, ruled out. Curtis with a bone ligament issue, ruled out”. Trent and Szoboszlai, not ready yet”.
Dominik Szoboszlai and Trent Alexander-Arnold have still not resumed their training. Although both of them are still a serious scepticism the former is still anticipated to miss Sunday’s Carabao Cup final.
