United have already been fined for breaking the Premier League FFP rule
For the summer of 2024, INEOS & Manchester United are investigating the free agency market. They believe they will act if they can obtain quality players and value, as Manchester United did with Eriksen. It is known that Wilfred Ndidi, Adrien Rabiot, Mehdi Taremi, and Piotr Zielinski are being monitored by the club.
Erik ten Hag may target free agents such as Adrien Rabiot, Tosin Adarabioyo, Olivier Giroud, Guido Rodriguez, and Wilfred Ndidi during the 2024 summer transfer window. Mehdi Taremi and Piotr Zielinski are two more unsigned free agents that are being keenly monitored.
A multinational business based in the United Kingdom called INEOS has purchased 25% of Manchester United. Manchester United have possession of qualified professionals with a track record of building and managing elite teams thanks to INEOS Sport.
But United first need to overhaul their board which has brought in players who have failed to make an impact at the club.

Starting at the top is the most obvious location to begin a club makeover. United have already started looking for a long-term replacement, with lawyer Patrick Stewart taking over as the club’s temporary CEO following the departure of Richard Arnold. Above all, we need a sporting director.
Although United already has a technical director (Darren Fletcher) and a football director (John Murtough), it’s questionable how much faith the team places in these positions considering the influence manager Erik ten Hag has in the transfer market and the limited media appearances of both Fletcher and Murtough.
The roles don’t appear to have the same responsibilities as those at other clubs of a similar calibre in Europe.
But it’s evident from United’s situation that strategic thinking and interpersonal abilities are necessary. The sporting director could concentrate on managing the large sporting functioning, from the youth programme to the first team, and give Ten Hag much-needed assistance.
He needs when it involves corresponding to the organisation in the media, with a seasoned head of hiring left to handle the transfer side of things (the current chief scout is Steve Brown).
