Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah to miss Luton clash after recurring injury: Report

Mohamed Salah returned to action against Brentford
Following a report on Egyptian TV that Mohamed Salah might miss the match against Luton due to injury, Liverpool supporters are now waiting for an official update on the player’s condition.
Salah replaced Diogo Jota shortly before halftime in Saturday’s 4-1 victory over Brentford, marking his comeback after a month-long absence due to a hamstring injury.
In an incredible display, the No. 11 went on to convert one and assist another, but there are now worries that it might have gone at a price.
Appearing as a reporter for the Egyptian TV network OnTime Sports, former custodian Ahmed Shobair of the national team asserted that Salah made his prior injury worse.
“I have sad news,” Shobair is quoted by Kora Plus.
“I learned that Salah suffered an injury at the end of the Brentford-Liverpool match, and the injury he suffered during the Egyptian national team camp was renewed.”

Salah was rumoured to be absent from Luton’s Wednesday night visit, but Shobair was unable to verify the veracity of the information he had received.
This occurs amid social media speculation that Salah might not play this week, leaving fans to wait for word from the team.
It should be mentioned that on Saturday afternoon, as Liverpool departed the Gtech Community Stadium, the attacking player was moving freely.
However, there will be worries about Salah given that Darwin Nunez was substituted off at halftime owing to a slight injury, Diogo Jota and Curtis Jones underwent tests over the weekend.
“I hope the news is not true,” he explained, “but it is [likely] true.”
