Netflix will film every moment of Vinicius Junior’s return after the racist events last year at the Mestalla
A Vinicius Junior documentary is coming to Netflix in 2025, the streaming service has confirmed. Vini Jr. and Netflix’s Spanish social media accounts both broke the news in a brief video clip. In recent years, the Real Madrid forward has grown to be one of the largest and most brilliant players in the league, and his light is still shining brightly.
The documentary will highlight his professional journey thus far, addressing the highs and lows of performing in one of the world’s largest venues.
Athletes’ personal lives are the subject of more and more documentaries. Watchers have been able to see behind the scenes at teams like Manchester City and Arsenal thanks to Amazon’s All or Nothing series. Netflix has already created documentaries about Nicolas Anelka and Pelé that cover both their off-field lives and careers.
Without a doubt, Vini’s documentary will discuss the racist insults he endured while living in Spain. Even though he is only 22 years old, he has already experienced racist taunts and shouts on a regular basis. He has also spoken out against the continued racism in football, both on the pitch and in the spectators.
