Neymar & Dembele have played both for Barcelona & PSG

Neymar left PSG last summer to join Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia, but he still sparks controversy on the internet with his noteworthy public appearances.

The 32-year-old striker recently appeared to respond to a story that attacked PSG, saying that Kylian Mbappé was more significant than the team.

The Brazilian delivered another outing this Wednesday that is sure to spark conversation. “Ney” responded to a post on Instagram that made fun of Ousmane Dembélé’s season-long goals total, saying, “Neymar, 2 goals with PSG this season.” We can read, “Ousmane Dembélé, 1 goal.”

A post was loved and then given a few laugh emojis to put out the fire. The foreign French speaker will be grateful for it. or not.

Following the activation of his €50 million (£43 million/$55 million) release clause, Dembele joined PSG. Although the Frenchman has been a constant for Luis Enrique, his 20 Ligue 1 outings have yielded just one goal and seven assists, which is quite lacklustre.

On the other hand, Neymar moved to the Saudi Pro League in the summer after scoring 118 goals in 173 games for PSG. However, the Brazilian’s season hasn’t been fantastic either. Due to an ACL injury, Neymar has been sidelined since October and is unlikely to return until the following campaign.

Dembele’s lone PSG goal to date arrived on his 16th outing for the Ligue 1 winners across all competitions. He has now gone 12 games without scoring for Luis Enrique’s team.

Dembele’s next opportunity to break his current goal-scoring slump is this Friday when PSG travels to Monaco in the Premier League. When the two teams last played in November, the France international scored.
