Chelsea are also in the race to sign the Nigerian striker
According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain want to bring in Napoli star Victor Osimhen, who was recently pursued by Chelsea and Arsenal, to replace Kylian Mbappe.
Real Madrid are expected to be Mbappe’s final destination after he informs PSG that he will be leaving the team at the end of the campaign.
Although both Liverpool and Arsenal have looked into trades for Mbappe, his enormous salary may be a problem.
PSG has already begun to prepare for life after Mbappe. According to The Athletic, the French champions aim to sign Osimhen.
Following his leadership of Napoli to their first Serie A championship in thirty-three years this past season, Osimhen has become one of the most sought-after prospects in European football.

Osimhen has continued where he left off in the Italian top division this season, scoring seven goals in 13 games.
Rivals in the Premier League, Arsenal and Chelsea, were reported to have shown a great interest in Osimhen in January. It is believed that they may make another attempt to sign him this summer.
However, PSG will now find themselves competing with the two English teams for Osimhen’s signing.
The 25-year-old is viewed by PSG, who have been planning for Mbappe’s potential departure since the summer, as a “strong candidate” to succeed him.
This year, Osimhen assisted Nigeria in reaching the Africa Cup of Nations final, where his team came in second to Ivory Coast.
PSG also looking to sign Barcelona’s Gavi alongside Victor Osimhen
PSG are also hoping to sign Gavi from Barcelona along with Osimhen.
The Spain midfielder debuted for the national team under PSG manager Luis Enrique, but the Catalans believe he is unprofitable. But if PSG announces a ridiculous number, Barca, who is still in dire straits, would find it difficult to reject.
