Sergio Aguero’s cardiologist reveals the striker can once again resume playing football

In a recent live video, Sergio Aguero’s doctor gave him some encouraging news, and he may now emotionally return to sport.

The 35-year-old’s cardiac problem, which was defined by irregular heartbeats, forced him to hang up his boots in 2021.

Sergio Aguero experienced a heart arrhythmia during one of his first games after joining FC Barcelona from Manchester City, and cameras showed him clearly uncomfortable.

The Manchester City icon now appears to have prioritised his media career and frequently makes live broadcasts on Twitch, where he has amassed over 4 million followers.

The Manchester City icon participates in Gerard Pique’s seven-a-side Kings League, making sporadic appearances on the pitch.

“People are asking me and well, I don’t know… What do you think?” he said. “How am I doing for 20 minutes of action? I don’t know if it’s 20, but ten?” Aguero asked his doctor during the stream.

“Logically, we have to do the studies, which already correspond, and make you run as if it were a game… When you approach the two centre backs, if you have to do a trick, something like that, you have to be well prepared, the doctor said, per talkSPORT.

Sergio Aguero called his cardiologist after disclosing on one of his most recent live streams that he was preparing for a potential comeback to football.

At that point, the retired striker’s physician told him he would be fine to play for at least twenty minutes.Aguero appeared beaming with happiness as the physician went on to say that he may resume competitive play if he could get back to his ideal physical state.
