The German manager will leave Munich next season

Thomas Tuchel is set to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the current campaign, and the manager of Bayern Munich admires to become the next manager at Manchester United.

The departed Chelsea manager is eager to get back to the Premier League and is keen to take on the role of manager in Manchester’s red area, according to Metro.

Bayern Munich’s poor performance in the 2023–24 season under Thomas Tuchel is evident from their defeat by FC Saarbrucken in the DFB-Pokal second round.

The Bavarians are at present eight points behind the league’s favourites Bayer Leverkusen and are headed for their first Bundesliga title loss since 2013.

As a result, Tuchel and Bayern Munich authorities reached a mutual decision that officially announced the German manager’s summertime departure from Allianz Arena.

The former Chelsea manager is reportedly connected to numerous teams, especially Barcelona, but he may play in the Premier League again next year.

After his time in Germany ends, Thomas Tuchel would want to move to Old Trafford, according to BILD’s Christian Falk.

Tuchel has long admired a job at Manchester United. However, this would necessitate firing Red Devils manager Erik Ten Hag, who is also having a disappointing season.

As of the moment, no solid rumours have emerged suggesting Erik ten Hag will leave Manchester United this season. However, Tuchel’s appointment might be imminent if the English giants keep performing poorly or fail to win any hardware this season.

This season, the 20-time Premier League champions have also struggled greatly with injuries, missing extended periods with important players like Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, and Mason Mount. The Red Devils’ situation only becomes worse as they are predicted to play the remainder of their campaign sans Luke Shaw.
