Trent Alexander-Arnold aggravated a knee injury during Liverpool’s victory over Burnley, therefore he will miss this month’s Carabao Cup final against Chelsea.
The vice-captain of Liverpool was substituted off the pitch after 45 minutes on Saturday due to discomfort in the same knee that he had torn the lateral ligament during the FA Cup triumph over Arsenal on January 7.
The defender’s estimated recovery time is a couple of weeks, so he won’t be available for the Wembley match on February 25th against Mauricio Pochettino’s team. No specific comeback date has been announced.
