Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo will return to action for Al Nassr against Al Hilal in the upcoming Riyadh Super Cup match.

The Saudi Pro League leaders Al Hilal will play their arch-rivals after a thrilling 4-3 win over Inter Miami in their previous friendly match. They have a chance to build more momentum heading into this game.

Al Nassr, on the other hand, registered a massive 6-0 win against the same opponents in their friendly match. Cristiano Ronaldo missed the match against Lionel Messi’s side. Messi was also facing injury issues and only played for the last 10-15 minutes.

Cristiano Ronaldo and his team played their league game on 30th December. Since then, these Saudi clubs have only played friendly games and no competitive matches.

The Portuguese international has been dealing with a left calf injury. Due to this injury, Al Nassr cancelled their tour to China
