Barcelona are exploring the market for a new manager next season
According to reports, Joan Laporta and company “like” Xabi Alonso, who is then “analysed” with an eye towards the upcoming season.
Early on Friday morning, new information about the powers that be at Barcelona’s search for a new manager for the upcoming campaign was made available.
Naturally, everyone in the football world knows that Barcelona are searching for a new head coach in preparation for the upcoming campaign.
This follows Xavi’s announcement late last month that he would leave his position at the end of the campaign. Consequently, many strategists have since been predicted to unseat the Spaniard.
Meanwhile, Unai Emery’s work at Aston Villa is greatly admired, and Hansi Flick is still a serious contender. The Barcelona board, however, believes that Sérgio Conceição, Imanol, and Míchel are “losing strength.”
Hansi Flick, Rafa Marquez, Sergio Conceicao, and Jurgen Klopp are just a handful of the names connected to the Barca manager position.
However, Sporting Director Deco stated during a Wednesday night broadcast on Esport3 that the Blaugrana were still in talks with any possible replacement.

But the day to make that decision will come soon enough, and SPORT reports that Conte could be a contender.
In addition, he seems to be the kind of “top” coach the Blaugrana are looking for rather than hiring someone like Xavi, who has little to no background in managing in the elite, to succeed Ronald Koeman in 2021.
In the wake of winning Chelsea’s sixth and last Premier League title in 2017, Conte also won four Serie A titles with Juventus and Inter Milan, despite his infamously poor performance in the Champions League.
The less written regarding Conte’s most recent stint at Tottenham Hotspur, the better. Since his dismissal in north London in March 2023, Conte has been unemployed, and he may now be motivated to rejoin the team.
