Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool are keen on signing the 21-year-old

In order to pursue a summer transfer to the Premier League, Jamal Musiala has turned down a new contract offer from Bayern Munich.

According to what Daily Star Sport disclosed last month, Manchester City and Liverpool are in the lead for Musiala. Recently, both English teams travelled to observe the German international play Bayer Leverkusen as part of scouting visits. The £150,000-per-week new contract offer from Bayern to midfield player Musiala was still on the table at that point. However, it is said that he has now notified the Bundesliga powerhouses that he would not be signing it, which has fueled rumours that he may depart the team in July.

After learning of that decision last week, City are growing more optimistic that they will prevail in the competition for the much sought-after Musiala, who turned 21 last week. Liverpool are not the only English team, though, posing a danger to Pep Guardiola’s attempts to get the playmaker, who has 25 caps for Germany.

Chelsea are likewise demonstrating a great deal of interest in their one-time youth offering. When the transfer window comes at the conclusion of the season, they should be taken into consideration right away.

But the Blues have little chance of convincing Musiala to pick Stamford Bridge over the Etihad or Anfield unless they capture the FA Cup and advance to the Europa League.

Musiala ought to cost no less than £80 million because his current Bayern contract has two years left on it. Moreover, his salary for each week will come to about £200,000.

After learning of that decision last week, City are growing more optimistic that they will prevail in the competition for the much sought-after Musiala, who only turned 21 last week.
