Courtois and Eder Militao, who sustained anterior cruciate ligament injuries during the early stages of the campaign, have been out of commission for the last six months. Ancelotti said that both players may be six weeks away from playing again after they have been adhering to a customised training regimen.
This could provide Real Madrid with a competitive advantage as they compete for La Liga and the Champions League.
Their comeback coincides with important games on Real Madrid’s schedule, such as the much-awaited El Clasico matchup with Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabeu on April 21. Furthermore, Courtois and Militao may play in the crucial second leg of the quarterfinal match, which is scheduled for April 16–17, should Real Madrid advance in the Champions League.
Before taking on Valencia on Saturday, Real Madrid received a shot in the arm thanks to the return of Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, and Dani Carvajal.
With a six-point advantage over Barcelona and Girona at the top of the Liga standings, Los Blancos will make it harder for them to win if they win again at Mestalla.
