AGF Aarhus will host SL Benfica for the second leg of their UEFA Europa League 2026-27 qualification playoffs at the Randers Stadium on Thursday, August 27, 2026. The Portuguese side secured a 3-1 win in the first leg and will take a two-goal advantage to Denmark.
Rafa Silva and Leandro Barreiro put Benfica two goals up at home in the first leg. Sebastian Jorgensen pulled one back for the hosts, but Vangelis Pavlidis struck from the penalty spot to restore a two-goal advantage. This win extended their unbeaten run to seven games under Marco Silva, who replaced Jose Mourinho at the start of the season.
AGF, on the other hand, will need a big win at home to keep their European hopes alive. They currently sit in the bottom three places of the Danish Superliga table, drawing three and losing one of their opening four games.
