The reigning champions will open their title defence in the Al-Raed vs Al-Hilal match.
Al-Raed will face Al-Hilal in a Round of 32 fixture in the Saudi King’s Cup 2026-27 at the King Abdullah Sport City Stadium in Jeddah on Monday, August 17. The reigning champions opened their Saudi Pro League campaign with a win over Al-Faisaly.
Karim Benzema and Malcom scored for Al-Za’eem, and a brace from Ruben Neves sealed a solid 4-2 victory in the season opener. Simone Inzaghi’s men trained on Sunday in preparation for the King’s Cup match. Al-Hilal remain the most successful club in the King’s Cup, having won it 10 times, including four times in the last five editions.
Al-Raed are coming off a terrible domestic season, finishing 18th in the Saudi Pro League and being relegated to the second division. They will face a tough test against Benzema and co., who will look to get their title defence off to a winning start.
