Despite the controversial red card decision for Folarin Balogun, they secured a 4-1 win over the USA in the round of 16.

They scored 12 goals in their games before they faced Spain in the semifinals and eventually became the first team to net a goal against La Roja and Unai Simón in the ongoing edition of the World Cup.

They entered the crucial fixture without two key midfielders, Amadou Onana and Youri Tielemans, while Thibaut Courtois suffered an injury in the second half. Despite everything, Belgium put up a tough fight against Spain.

Yes. The Red Devils’ journey in the 2026 FIFA World Cup has come to an end following their defeat to 2010 champions Spain. Most likely, it was the last time the football world had Kevin de Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku, and Alex Witsel in an important international tournament.
