Arsenal vs Everton Preview, prediction, injury news & lineups | Premier League 2026-27

The Gunners are unbeaten in their last five encounters against the Toffees!

Arsenal are now going to have a face-off against Everton FC for their matchweek 8 contest in the English Premier League 2026-27 campaign. This interesting outing will take place at the Emirates Stadium.

Having won six of their first seven league games this season, Mikel Arteta’s men are in second place on the points table. They secured a 1-0 win against Nottingham Forest in their last league outing. The Gunners were then held to a 2-2 draw by Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League.

They haven’t suffered a defeat in their last four games and will be looking to keep things that way. At home, Arsenal are going to enjoy a massive advantage. Mikel Arteta’s men should look towards controlling the tempo from the very beginning.

The Toffees have underperformed in their last two Premier League 2026-27 fixtures. They were first held to a 2-2 draw by Hull City and then fell prey to Chelsea (0-2). The David Moyes-led side will be keen to get back to winning ways, while they take on a tough challenge now.

Everton will be away from home for their upcoming contest. They haven’t secured a win against the Gunners in their last five attempts. This will keep them under pressure from the start.

It is safe to say that Arsenal’s midfield performed well against Bayern Munich. Declan Rice helped his side secure a draw after netting a crucial equaliser in the final moments of the game. He is once again going to play an important role for the Gunners.

The 27-year-old can contribute both in the attack and the defence.

Thierno Barry will be a crucial asset in the attacking front for Everton. Even though he has only scored three goals in seven Premier League appearances this season, his positioning is going to keep Arsenal’s defence on edge. The 23-year-old striker will be looking to step up his game and deliver a top performance.
