The 24-year-old striker has penned a three year deal with the Kolkata giants.

After months of rumors doing rounds, ATK Mohun Bagan FC have announced the signing of India international Manvir Singh from FC Goa on a three-year deal. Singh, who rose to fame after winning the Santosh Trophy with West Bengal, joined the Gaurs in 2017 and have since went on to win the SAFF Cup and represent the senior national team as well.

“Kolkata has a special place in my heart and I am very happy to be back here. It will be a great honour to turn out for this special club in the green and maroon and I look forward to representing ATK Mohun Bagan FC for years to come,” the 24-year-old said.

Despite not receiving many chances, Manvir Singh has been touted as one of the more promising upcoming forwards in the country. The striker has represented the Blue Tigers on multiple occasions, including in a FIFA 2022 World Cup qualifier match against Oman in November 2020.

Manvir Singh had registered only 27.54 minutes on the field per game on an average in the league since the 2017-18 season, scoring three goals in the process.

ATK Mohun Bagan have already acquired Subhasish Bose from Mumbai City FC on a five-year agreement. They have extended the existing deals of players like Roy Krishna, Edu Garcia, Pritam Kotal, Carl McHugh Sumit Rathi and Prabir Das - creating a profound core of players for the upcoming campaign. The club also retained midfielder Sk Sahil, who was vital in Mohun Bagan’s I-League triumph in 2019-20.
