The Ballon d’Or 2026 Men’s Goalkeeper of the Year Trophy shortlist has been revealed, with Yassine Bounou, Thibaut Courtois, Gregor Kobel, Joan García, Emiliano Martínez, David Raya, Édouard Mendy, Unai Simón, Matvey Safonov and Vozinha making the cut. The 10 nominees were selected based on their performances during the 2025-26 season.
The winner will be decided by an international jury of specialist journalists, with voters considering individual performances, team achievements and trophies, as well as class and fair play. The 2026 Ballon d’Or ceremony will take place in London on October 26, where the successor to 2025 winner Gianluigi Donnarumma will be crowned.
