The Ballon d’Or 2026 Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year Trophy nominees have been revealed, with Ann-Katrin Berger, Cata Coll, Hannah Hampton, Lorena and Ayaka Yamashita making the final five-player shortlist. The nominees have been recognised for their individual performances and contributions during the 2025-26 season.
Hannah Hampton will be aiming to retain the award after winning the inaugural Women’s Yashin Trophy in 2025, while Berger and Coll return after finishing second and third, respectively, last year. The winner will be decided by the women’s Ballon d’Or jury, with the award based on individual performances, team achievements and sporting conduct.
