Bayern Munich’s pre-season friendlies: Dates & kick-off times

The German champions will now gear up for the new season from 25th July.

This summer, Bayern Munich will go to Asia, with a match against Aston Villa serving as the highlight of their pre-season camp. They then host RB Leipzig at Allianz Arena to conclude their pre-season campaign.

The start of summer is almost here! Head coach Vincent Kompany welcomed his players back to Säbener Straße for their first training session on Monday, July 20. This comes 58 days after FC Bayern won the DFB-Pokal final against VfB Stuttgart, securing the double last season.

The internationals who played in the World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico in recent weeks will gradually return to the group as pre-season proceeds.

The first warm-up match will take place on Saturday, July 25 at SV Wehen-Wiesbaden.

From July 27 to 30, the Munich team will have open practice sessions and play a friendly against local side FC Rottach-Egern on the Tegernsee.

Four days later, they will face Jeju SK in their pre-season friendly, followed by a fixture against Aston Villa. Bayern will then conclude their summer camp against RB Leipzig. They will then start their new Bundesliga season after the DFL-Supercup match.
