Borussia Dortmund will go head-to-head against SV Elversberg for their ninth matchweek contest of the Bundesliga 2026-27 season. This is going to be an interesting outing, taking place at Signal Iduna Park.
Borussia Dortmund kept their unbeaten run in the German top division alive after securing a late 2-2 against Bayern Munich in their previous league contest. They put up a strong fight, but it was not enough for them to secure three points. The Black and Yellow are not hunting for the top spot on the points table.
The Niko Kovac-led side will be at home. This is going to be a massive advantage for them. They are going to be full of confidence.
SV Elversberg have put in some decent performances since the beginning of the Bundesliga 2026-27 campaign. After four wins in their first eight games, they are placed seventh on the league table and are looking like strong contenders for the top four this season.
Vincent Wagner’s men secured a dominant 4-1 victory against Mainz 05. It will keep them fully confident for their next one despite being away from home.

Felix Keidel (Elversberg)
Felix Keidel will be looking to step up his game so that he can help his side stand a chance against the Black and Yellow. He was the top performer for SV Elversberg in their 4-1 win against Mainz 05. The 23-year-old was one of the goal scorers and took the most shots (3).
