The Bees narrowly missed out on continental football by goal difference. Igor Thiago (Brentford)

The Brazilian striker from Gama has played for Club Brugge and domestic teams from Brazil before making a move to Brentford in 2024. He was brilliant last season for Keith Andrews, making 26 goal contributions in just 40 games for the Bees.

After narrowly missing out on continental football, the former Cruzeiro striker will be raring to go all guns blazing and score a lot of goals. He also scored in the last game against Rennes and will eye extending his goal-scoring streak against Frankfurt.

Michael Zetterer (Frankfurt)

The Munich-born keeper is set to make a comeback into the playing lineup with Kaua making way for the veteran German custodian. He will be up against a strong offensive trio of Igor Thiago, Ouattara and Anthony in the next game.

A former Germany U20 and U21 international, he has previously played for Werder Bremen and Zwolle. An accomplished senior presence in the Frankfurt team, Zetterer will be a key player to watch for Frankfurt in the upcoming season.
