The Parana-born keeper played a pivotal role in helping Cortiba win the Serie B title and clinch a promotion to the Brazilian top flight. Morisco has made 12 appearances so far in the ongoing season.
Brazil are yet to keep a clean sheet so far. The pressure will be massive on the young keeper from Cortiba. Last season, in Serie B, Morisco was just brilliant, keeping 17 clean sheets out of 30 games. He was one of the top players for Cortiba last season.
In the new Serie A season, Cortiba sit in the ninth spot and are nine points above the relegation zone. It has not been a pleasant season for Morisco. He has failed to keep a clean sheet so far in the Brazilian top flight.
In fact, Morisco has conceded 10 goals in his last three games, including a 5-0 defeat to Vasco da Gama and a 3-3 draw against Athletico Paranaense.
