Spain are currently playing against Austria in the round of 32 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup at the Los Angeles Stadium in Inglewood, California. The game started with both sides trying to take an early lead. However, in the initial few minutes, the 2010 champions created more chances than Ralf Rangnick’s side.
Winning two out of their three games in the group stage, La Roja qualified for the knockout stage as the table toppers with 7 points. Meanwhile, Austria had four points after three games, having won one, drawn one, and lost one fixture.
However, the game is set to be an intense clash, as many football icons and celebrities have come to the Los Angeles Stadium to witness the fixture. World Cup champions Carlos Puyol and David Villa, alongside FIFA president Gianni Infantino, are in attendance for the knockout clash.

Real Madrid legend Míchel Salgado was spotted in attendance, sitting alongside Carlos Puyol and David Villa, who are currently in the stadium to watch the round of 32 clash between Spain and Austria.
Former La Roja head coach and Real Madrid defender Fernando Hierro is also present at the Los Angeles Stadium. Villa and Puyol were also a part of the Spanish squad that won the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Much like other games, FIFA president Gianni Infantino and secretary general Mattias Grafström are watching the high-intensity clash. They have been attending a majority of games in the ongoing edition of the summer competition.
Spanish footballer Alexia Putellas is also enjoying the game from the stands.
Celebrities Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, and James Corden are also watching the knockout clash between the two European sides.
