List of all matches confimed for Round of 16 of FIFA World Cup 2026

France, England and Spain are the favourites to win the title.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is now focused on the knockout stage. From here, all the matches are going to be more eventful and exciting to look at. Canada, Mexico and the USA are hosting the flagship tournament this year.

This time around, the expanded competition featured a total of 48 teams. There is now an addition of a new knockout stage, which is the round of 32. Now all the nations will be on the edge and must survive back-to-back do-or-die fixtures to get to the further stages of the tournament.

Underdogs like Norway, Mexico and Colombia have a chance to reach the latter stages of the FIFA World Cup 2026. They might not have a stacked squad, but have shown more than capable performances to put up a strong fight against the top nations.

Canada have eliminated South Africa and are now the first nation to reach the round of 16 for the first time. It is their first time in the last 16. Teams will be fully charged up to give their all here. England, Spain and France are the favourites to win the prestigious title this year.

1. Canada vs Netherlands/Morocco

Les Rouges have now become the first team to secure their spot in the last 16. They will either take on the Netherlands or Morocco. Either way, it is now going to be a tough outing for them. The Canadian men’s national soccer team lack the power to control the momentum of the game and this can put them under pressure against the top teams like Oranje or Atlas Lions.
