Frustrated Neymar lashes out at younger PSG teammates after Coupe de France final loss
The Ligue 1 champions lost on penalties after a 2-2 draw.
Neymar was distraught with his younger teammates after their shocking loss to Stade Rennes in the Coupe de France final. The Brazilian was reduced to a frustrated figure as urged his younger teammates to listen to the experienced campaigners at Paris Saint Germain.
It was a dream come true for Stade Rennes as they defeated the Parisiens on penalties 6-5 after it was a 2-2 draw at the end of regulation time. The Ligue 1 champions gave away a two-goal lead at the French capital.
It was a first start for Neymar after being sidelined for months as the Brazilian was quick to get off the blocks and doubled the lead for PSG after Dani Alves broke the deadlock.
The Brazilian was very frustrated with his side after the loss and his frustration was clearly visible as he lashed out all his anger on a fan while going to collect his runner's medal at the end of the match. There was verbal exchange between the fan and him as the Brazilian failed to control his frustration and threw a punch toward that fan and was hustled away by his fellow teammates.
