Crystal Palace will take on TSG 1899 Hoffenheim in a crucial league-phase fixture of the UEFA Europa League 2026-27 on Thursday, November 5, 2026. The two sides have won once in the tournament so far and will be vying for three important points at Selhurst Park.
A 4-0 win at home against Lech Poznan was a perfect way for Crystal Palace to begin their Europa League campaign. However, Pierre Sage’s men suffered a 3-2 loss away to Olympique Lyonnais, followed by a 2-2 draw with Besiktas.
As a result, the Eagles sit in 15th place in the UEL league-phase table. Their performances in the Premier League have been even worse. Just two wins in nine matches have seen them slip to 18th place in the league table and currently occupy a spot in the relegation zone.
Their last outing was a 2-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur. As a result, they will need to be wary of Hoffenheim, although the German club are coming into this fixture off a 2-0 loss to Werder Bremen.
In fact, Die Kraichgauer remain winless in their last two matches across all competitions. They began their UEL campaign with back-to-back losses against OFI Crete (2-0) and Besiktas (3-2). This streak was halted by a 3-0 win over Lyon in their last continental outing.
Players to Watch
Daichi Kamada (Crystal Palace)
Daichi Kamada has been stunning in the middle of the park for Crystal Palace this season. The 30-year-old Japanese player leads the team with three assists this season in the Premier League. He has also starred in front of goal, scoring a goal in the Europa League loss to Lyon.
Adam Daghim (Hoffenheim)
Adam Daghim has three goals across the Bundesliga and Europa League, positioning himself as one of the leading goalscorers in the German top flight. The 21-year-old Danish marksman is a threat down the left flank and will be looking to return to goalscoring form, having not scored in his last three outings.
