This will be the second-ever clash between these clubs!
Borussia Dortmund of the Bundesliga are locking horns with Gian Piero Gasperini’s AS Roma at the Signal Iduna Park. This club-friendly outing is crucial for both sides ahead of the new season.
The Niko Kovač-led side will be aiming to secure at least one major trophy during the 2026-27 season. They have quality players in their squad, but their tactics have not been at their best. Borussia Dortmund have already competed in five pre-season games this time around. They will be looking to secure a fourth win in their current pre-season campaign. The Black and Yellow took down Arsenal in their last outing and will be looking to outclass the Serie A side this time around.
As for AS Roma, they still need a lot of tactical improvement ahead of the new season. They have a strong final third, but somehow haven’t been able to put in their best efforts. The Gian Piero Gasperini-led side have only secured one win in their ongoing pre-season run. Against the Bundesliga and that too away from home, it is going to be a very tough game for Roma.
