Croatian midfielder, Luka Modric has repotedly approached FIFA to state that he was responsible for contacting Inter Milan over the possibility of a prospective transfer following the complaints that his current club had lodged with football's governing association over the allegdly unethical way in which the Italian giants had gone about negotiations with the World Cup finalist.
In light of these revelations, it is very likely that the case that Real Madrid has against Inter Milan will be dropped. However, it does put Modric's future at the Santiago Bernabeu in question.
