Everton vs Lille: Full lineups confirmed for pre-season friendly

The Everton vs Lille clash will be the last friendly fixture for both sides.

Everton are set to face Lille in a pre-season friendly fixture at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool on Saturday, August 15, 2026. This represents the last chance for both sides to tinker with their lineups and tactics before the start of the Premier League and Ligue 1 seasons over the next few weeks.

The Toffees are coming from a two-match tour of Germany, beating Hamburger SV 2-1 before suffering a 3-1 loss to VfB Stuttgart. Their best pre-season performance came in their last outing against Newcastle United, with goals from Thierno Barry, Iliman Ndiaye and Tyrique George sealing a 3-1 victory.

Lille, meanwhile, are coming off a 6-3 win over OH Leuven in their last game. So far, the Ligue 1 side have won two of their three friendly fixtures, suffering a 2-1 loss to Union Saint-Gilloise. However, the French team will face a tough test against an in-form Toffees side at home.
