Manchester United maintained their unbeaten record under Solskjaer with a resilient victory against Leicester. Higuain and Hazard grabbed braces in Chelsea's victory over Huddersfield while Tottenham grinded out a 1-0 victory against a tough Newcastle side. Liverpool stumbled again with West Ham holding the Reds after Michail Antonio's goal canceled out Sadio Mane's opener. Manchester City beat Arsenal comfortably in the first game of their double match week before seeing off Everton in Goodison Park.

Gameweek 25 Review

Son Heung-Min had 11 points this gameweek thanks to his goal in Tottenham's victory against Newcastle. Sadio Mane got eight points and Marcus Rashford got seven as they scored the only goals for their respective teams. Marcos Alonso got a well-earned clean sheet against Huddersfield giving him six points, while Aaron-Wan Bissaka got five points for shutting out Fulham. Liverpool duo Andrew Robertson and Alisson Becker and Bournemouth pair Joshua King and Ryan Fraser got only two points each. The double game week had contrasting results for Sergio Aguero and Richarlison. The former finished with 38 points while the latter only managed three points in total. 

The team however finished well above average.

Gameweek 26 Transfers

David Brooks' injury makes him a potential transfer. The Bournemouth midfielder can be replaced with Andros Townsend or Solly March. However, due to his run of favourable fixtures, Southampton midfielder Nathan Redmond is chosen. Although, not a regular performer, the pacy winger chips in with the occasional goal.

Alisson Becker's lack of performances has been a cause of concern. The Liverpool shot-stopper can be replaced by David De Gea. The Mancunian keeper has shown signs of revival under new management and could be vital in the weeks to come. However, Alisson stays due to the Reds' favourable run of games.

The team lines up in a 3-5-2 formation. Alisson maintains his spot in front of goal, with Fabianski staying on the bench. Matt Doherty, Andrew Robertson and Aaron-Wan Bissaka start in defense due to their favourable home games. Ricardo Pereira, who faces Tottenham and Marcos Alonso, who faces Manchester City move to the bench. Heung-min Son, Richarlison, Ryan Fraser, Nathan Redmond and Sadio Mane start in midfield. Son has been made captain while fellow midfielder Sadio Mane becomes the vice-captain. Joshua King fails to make the cut in attack with Sergio Aguero and Marcus Rashford starting.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's unbeaten Manchester United face a tricky trip to Fulham while Huddersfield awaits an Arsenal side looking to clawing back to the fifth place. At Anfield, Liverpool welcomes Bournemouth, hoping to stop their recent slump and maintain their spot at the top of the table. Tottenham, will look to push their forward momentum with a win against Leicester. Etihad Stadium will witness a crunch fixture as Manchester City take on Chelsea.
