FPL Guru: How your team should look like in Gameweek 27
Manchester City, Everton, Chelsea, and Brighton won't feature this week.
Manchester United continue their fine league form under Solskjaer with a solid 3-0 victory at Fulham while Liverpool maintained it's leash on City with a similar scoreline against Bournemouth. Arsenal survived against a gritty Huddersfield side thanks to goals from Iwobi and Lacazette while Tottenham saw off a determined Leicester in Wembley. Manchester City, however, showed their true strength with a resounding 6-0 victory against Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium.
Gameweek 26 Review
Sergio Aguero was the star of the week. The Manchester City striker's hat-trick against Chelsea gave him 17 points. Captain Son got valuable 12 points while Andrew Robertson got 9 points. Sadio Mane and Alisson Becker also got 8 and 6 points respectively. The rest of the team, however, failed to get points. Matt Doherty, Ryan Fraser, Richarlison and Joshua King got 2 points each while Aaron-Wan Bissaka and Nathan Redmond got only one point each. The team finished just above average.
Gameweek 27 Transfers
Four teams do not feature in Gameweek 27. Brighton and Everton have a rest week due to the Capital One Cup final clash between Chelsea and Manchester City. In this scenario, a Free Hit is used. These temporary transfers can help steady the team, despite the fact that several key players do not feature.

The preferred system is 4-4-2. Fabianski starts as the goalkeeper, with Lloris dropping to the bench. In defense, Ricardo Pereira starts alongside temporary players, Kieran Trippier, Patrick van Aanholt, and Jamaal Lascelles. Aaron-Wan Bissaka is benched for the week. Nathan Redmond moves to the bench from midfield. Paul Pogba, Heung-Min Son and Sadio Mane start alongside Ryan Fraser. With Joshua King benched, Marcus Rashford starts with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in attack. Aubameyang's home fixture against Southampton makes him an easy choice for captain while Paul Pogba is made vice-captain.
Manchester City and Chelsea battle each other in Wembley for the first silverware of the season. The Capital One Cup final means that both the sides are not playing this week. Tottenham travel to a resurgent Burnley while Arsenal face Southampton in the comfort of their home. The fixture of the week, however, is between Manchester United and Liverpool, as Old Trafford gears up for what could be a title-defining match.
