To watch people like Messi and Suarez play live is fantastic- Rahul Dravid
The Wall was at the Camp Nou and he had plenty of praise for the club and Lionel Messi.
Legendary Indian cricketer, Rahul Dravid, was present at the Camp Nou when FC Barcelona won 2-0 against Atletico Madrid on Sunday. With the win over Los Rojiblancos, Barcelona have taken an 11-point lead at the top of La Liga with seven games yet to be played.
Commonly known as the Wall during his exceptional career in cricket, Dravid expressed his thoughts after the game, as he seemed ecstatic to have finally watched a game at Camp Nou.
"It's incredible, it's a huge honour, it's one of things I always wanted to do to come to Camp Nou and watch a football match and to be here and to experience the atmosphere is absolutely incredible," said Dravid.
He continued, "To be able to watch people like (Lionel0 Messi and (Luis)) Suarez play live is fantastic to me and my family and thanks to FC Barcelona for the hospitality, it's been excellent."
Cricket and football are leagues apart and he said, "Well, cricket is a different game. Yes, we have great crowds and atmosphere at the IPL and a lot of our test matches. Cricket is the #1 sport in India, but football is catching up very quickly, the ISL, this new league we have in India since the last few years."
Dravid has been a huge fan of Barcelona and it is evident with the emotions he had after witnessing the game at Camp Nou. "Obviously, it is one the popular clubs in the world. You know when you have people like Messi and people follow it and you know everyone watches and follow sthe LaLiga, especially the games you know Barcelona Vs Real Madrid or Barcelona Vs Atletico Madrid are the big games."

Late goals from Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi sealed the deal for the Blaugrana as they now prepare to take on Manchester United.

Dravid was presented with a jersey with his name printed on the back. From one great to another, he spoke a few words on Messi, "I think he is aN absolute genius, incredible what he does and to watch him live and see. Yes, one thing about Messi is he is fantastic with the ball, but it's incredible to see how good he is without the ball. How he is able to find spaces."
"I don't think there's been a better player than him ever so it's just fantastic to watch him live," Dravid said.
