Electronic Arts’ latest offering in the FIFA games franchise has been released for users with early access. FIFA 22 will launch for the general public on October 1, 2021 on all major platforms. The anticipation before the full release is immense as it is arguably the most popular football game in the world. FIFA 22 offers a lot to the users, state of the art graphics, entertaining game modes and more.
The ratings for the players were also revealed a few days ago which created a lot of discussion around the game. The Ultimate Team mode is one of the most popular modes where users clash against each other for the victory. The high-rated forwards are the most vital pieces in any FUT setup as the game is won by scoring more goals than the opponent after all.
Here is a look at the top 10 highest rated forwards one can use in different game modes of FIFA 22.
10. Luis Suarez - 88
Atletico Madrid striker Luis Suarez has a rating of 88 in FIFA 22. The former FC Barcelona striker was vital in the La Liga outfit’s league triumph in the 2020/21 season. The striker had a rating of 87 in the previous edition. The boost is well-deserved for the veteran striker who achieved so much success last season.
9. Sadio Mane - 89
Liverpool’s Sadio Mane has a rating of 89 and is the joint-top rated forward in Liverpool’s squad. The Senegalese international scored 16 goals and provided nine assists last year and continues to play an important role in the team. However, Mane had a 90 overall rating and has suffered a loss of one point in FIFA 22.
8. Karim Benzema - 89
The Frenchman has a rating of 89 overall points in FIFA 22. The 33-year-old is ageing like fine wine and has 15 goal contributions (eight goals and seven assists) in first seven games of the season for Real Madrid, making them the early favourites to win the La Liga title.
Karim Benzema had a strong outing at Euro 2020 after making a comeback to the French national team. He was 89 rated in FIFA 21 as well, therefore maintains his stable rating.
7. Mohamed Salah - 89
Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has a rating of 89 and is a very popular pick in FIFA games. The speedy winger scored 31 goals and made six assists in all competitions last season. However, he lost one rating point from 90 in FIFA 21 to 89 in FIFA 22 which was upsetting to a huge section of Liverpool fans.
6. Harry Kane - 90

Heading into the top five forwards in FIFA 22, Neymar Jr is next up on the list. The Paris Saint-Germain star and the most expensive transfer in the world has a rating of 91 overall points. The Brazilian had a rating of 91 in the previous edition too, therefore maintains his rating.

4. Kylian Mbappe - 91
Neymar’s teammate at Paris Saint-Germain, Kylian Mbappe is the next player on the list. The Frenchman has a rating of 91 and is part of a star-studded PSG squad which is very popular in FIFA games. The forward had 53 goal contributions (42 goals and 11 assists) in all competitions last term. Mbappe also improved his rating from 90 to 91 in FIFA 22.
3. Cristiano Ronaldo - 91
Heading into the top-three, Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo is next up on the list. The Portuguese has fallen out of the top two highest-rated players and gets a rating of 91 in FIFA 22. He had a good individual performance for Juventus last term, scoring 36 goals and four assists in all competitions. He won the golden boot in the Serie A in the process. However, Ronaldo has suffered a drop of one point in his rating from FIFA 21.
2. Robert Lewandowski - 92
Robert Lewandowski is the second highest-rated player and forward in FIFA 22. The Bayern Munich star broke the record of scoring most goals in a single Bundesliga season last year. He scored 41 goals in the league alone, helping the club to another league title. The 33-year-old also got a point boost from FIFA 21 where he was a 91-rated player.
1. Lionel Messi - 93
Lionel Messi maintains his position as the highest rated forward and player from FIFA 21 to FIFA 22. He has a rating of 93, same as the previous edition. The Argentine made headlines after leaving FC Barcelona and joining PSG in Ligue 1 during the transfer window. He is expectedly one of the most popular picks in FIFA as he is an asset for any FUT squad.
