Pogba to outlast Mourinho in Manchester United, Mbappe features on Time magazine's front cover
Both the World Cup winners have been in incredible form for their nation in recent fixtures.
Post their World Cup victory, some French players have been under the limelight on a permanent basis, especially the likes of Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappe. Pogba has been making headlines regarding his frosty relationship with Manchester United gaffer Jose Mourinho. Meanwhile, the 19-year old PSG sensation has been doing the rounds for his impeccable flow of goals for club and country.
According to a report by Mundo Deportivo today, Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu told to a reporter from The Times that the Old Trafford midfielder would not come to Spain as United would not sell him at any price. This puts an end to any speculation regarding his alleged impending transfer to the Blaugrana.
Back in the red side of Manchester, head coach Mourinho is currently having a pretty tough time, with his side currently placed eighth in the Premier League table after four wins, one draw, and three losses. The Portuguese is also having a very cold relationship with Pogba reportedly, and the Frenchman has also been in average form in England.
So after Bartomeu's recent remark, it now seems that Pogba will outlast Mourinho obviously, with Zinedine Zidane in the list of rumoured managers expected to come at the helm.
Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe this week features on Time magazine's front cover, making him the fourth football player to do so. The youngster has been tipped for success and has already won a host of trophies including the World Cup, Ligue 1 title etc.

In an interview with the magazine, he said, "My life has been totally turned upside down. I think I might have missed out on something. I did not have the moments of so-called normal people during adolescence, like going out with friends, enjoying good times. We can be the best and the world champions, as we are now. And in four years, you are forgotten, because there is someone else who has arrived and done better than you. I have learned that the biggest stars and the greatest players are the most humble ones, the ones who respect people the most."

He further quipped, "There are three criteria: respect, humility and lucidity. My mother has always told me that to become a great football player, you must be before all a great man."
It will be interesting to see, where Mourinho lands up in the upcoming months, or he can turn the tide with United with Pogba back on fire. Moreover, Mbappe has defied all expectations. After his recent international goal against Iceland, he became the first French player to score 10 international goals before 20-years old.
