Fulham FC will go head-to-head against Newcastle United for their 10th matchweek fixture of the English Premier League 2026-27 campaign. This clash is all set to take place at Craven Cottage.
The Alvaro Arbeloa-led side have quite literally underperformed since the beginning of the season. They are still very inconsistent in their recent performances and can be under pressure for their next game. Fulham FC have been eliminated from the Carabao Cup and were then held to a 1-1 draw against Aston Villa in their last league outing.
The Cottagers are going to be at home for their next fixture and must use it to their advantage. With just two wins in their first nine matches, they are in 15th place on the points table.
Matthias Jaissle’s men have now suffered four losses in their last five matches. They were knocked out of the cup competition and then faced another loss at the hands of Everton in the Premier League. The Magpies are going to be under pressure for their next one. Surely need a strong strategy to come out of the losing streak.
Newcastle United are 13th on the English top division points table with 3 wins so far. Being away from home is going to be a massive disadvantage for them.
Players to Watch
Alex Iwobi (Fulham)
The 30-year-old is going to be one of the main men in the squad for Fulham FC. We once again deployed on the left flank and is going to cause big issues for the opponent. Even though he failed to score a goal against Aston Villa, Alex Iwobi took the joint-most shots (3). He will once again look to deliver another top performance.
Anthony Elanga (Newcastle United)
Anthony Elanga will be looking to step up his game so that he can help his side get back to winning ways in the Premier League. He has scored two goals in five appearances for Newcastle United and will be eager to add more to his tally. 24-year-old will be deployed on the right flank for the Magpies, making him a constant threat to the opponent’s defence.
