The Greens dropped points once again following a defeat in their previous match.
Heavyweights Churchill Brothers and Salgaocar FC had to shared points as the clubs played out a goalless draw in the Goa Pro League on Tuesday.
Churchill coach Peter Vales made only one change to his side which beat Guardian Angel SC in the last match. Forward Ashish Shaw found his way back to the starting XI for the Red Machines. On the other hand, Salgaocar made multiple changes to their squad as Ribhav Sardesai and Selwyn Miranda made a comeback. Apart from them, Chaitan Komarpant, Aglon Abranches, Ashnoy Colaco and Perry Pereira made the first start for the Greens.
Both sides began on their front foot but it were Churchill who came close to scoring in the ninth minute. Jobern Cardozo found Clencio Pinto with a lob, who did not waste time and made an attempt. However, Salgaocar keeper Jason D'Mello parried it over the crossbar.

A few minutes later, they came up with another swift attack. Jobern once again found Clencio with a defence splitting pass but the forward shot wide.
Salgaocar came up with their first potent attack in the 18th minute as Aglon smashed the woodwork with a long-ranger. They had another opportunity in the 24th minute as Selwyn attempted a through to Aglon inside the box, but Churchill custodian Nora Fernandes came off his line to clear the danger.
At the other end, Churchill received a golden opportunity in the first half in the 38th minute. Clencio sent a low cross in the box to Ashish, who failed to connect from up close. The ball rolled to Pushkar Prabhu, whose strike rebounded off the crossbar.
Churchill came out all guns blazing in the second half and came close to leading the scorechart in the 52nd minute. Ashish tried to find the net from the top of the box, but Salgaocar defender Krishna Nath Shirodkar made a timely block. The loose ball fell to Jobern but Saurabh Patil parried it away for a corner.

Churchill came up with another swift attack in the 56th minute. Chaitan dribbled past a few opponents to enter the box and set up Fhezer Gomes inside the box. However, the substitute forward failed to connect from up close.
A few minutes later, Salgaocar came up with a lethal attack from the right flank. Ribhav sent a cross to Fhezer in the box with just the keeper at his mercy, but the forward once again disappointed with an aimless strike.
Fhezer was once again in action in the 66th minute. He received a pass from Chaitan but could not keep his strike on target.
In the final minutes of the match, Churchill custodian Nora was once again tested as Antush Moniz attempted a powerful strike. However, Nora saved it with a timely dive to keep his side safe.
