GPL 2019-20: FC Goa trounce Panjim Footballers for win

FC Goa humbled Panjim Footballers with a 4-2 win in the Goa Professional League match played at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Sunday. Aaren D’Silva scored a treble while Sezwin also got on the score sheet for the Gaurs. Llyod and Joyson scored for Panjim. FC Goa took the lead in the ninth minute through Sezwin Fernandes who was fed by Aaren D'Silva, and the former hit past the rival keeper, 1-0. In the 24th minute, the goal provider turned scorer as Aaren Silva who slammed from close. [KH_ADWORDS type="3" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS] Panjim Footballers managed to pull a goal back through Llyod Cardozo in the 34th minute as he made the best of Valmiky's assist. FC Goa led 2-1 at the break. In the second half, FC Goa consolidated their lead in the 46th minute through Aaren, who scored off a rebound after Sezwin's shot at goal was blocked by the keeper and the ball travelled to former Sesa FA academy product, who scored his second of the day. In the 66th minute Panjim Footballers' Joyson pulled another goal back for Panjim making it 2-3.
