GPL 2019-20: Guardian Angel force stalemate against SESA

In the seventh minute, Guardian Angel SC’s Joel tried his luck from distance after he dispossessed Sesa FA’s Ben in their own half. Sesa dominated the initial stages of the game and didn’t take long before they could take the lead.
In the 16th minute, Olvin Cardozo dropped in the midfield to collect the ball and put through a brilliant through ball for the SFA right-winger Richard who converted it into the back of the net.
[KH_ADWORDS type="3" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS]SFA dominated the game in the first quarter of the game as they retained the majority of possession. SFA had another chance after Russel Vaz struck the ball from 20 yards out and the ball just brushed past the post.
Guardian Angel SC, who couldn’t find a perfect rhythm made a tactical substitution as coach Riston Rodrigues substituted on Bamba for Sunny in the 38th minute. SFA created another chance right before the end of the first half as Vishnu Gosavi was clear against the keeper but he couldn't find the bottom right corner.
Guardian Angel SC were clearly the better side in the second session as they created more space in the game thus creating more chances. Guardian Angel’s Joel had an opportunity to level with his header but it drifted wide.

SFA winger Vishnu and midfielder Russel were booked by the referee for a mistimed tackle in the 76th and 79th minutes, respectively.
Guardian Angel SC finally scored after Allwyn Vaz strike from long range was deflected by SFA defenders and found the back of the net. Guardian Angel SC had an opportunity to make it 2 after Josley struck from inside the box while SFA keeper Sapam struggled to collect the ball from a free-kick.
The ball met GASC's own striker Bamba and was out for a goal kick. SFA defender Myran was booked by the referee for a mistimed tackle on GASC striker.
