Nestor Dias scored a brace as FC Goa recorded a fluent 4-0 win over Vasco SC in the Goa Professional League match played at Duler Stadium, Mapusa, on Monday. Aaren D’Silva and Vincy Barreto were the other goal getters for the young Gaurs. The Gaurs should have been ahead midway through the first period when Sweden Fernandes’ corner from the left found the run of Brian Faria at the far post. [KH_ADWORDS type="3" align="center"][/KH_ADWORDS] FC Goa scored the first in the 25th minute when Flan Gomes played a pass to Aaren D’Silva, who netted with a simple tap in, 1-0. FC Goa continued to enjoy better position in the game and they soon inflated the tally in the 39th minute when Vasco SC keeper fumbled to cleanly collect a Sezwin’s effort which was punished by Vincy Baretto slotting the ball at the back of the net. In the second half, FC Goa continued from where they had left from. FC Goa scored their third in the 70th minute when Nestor backflipped the ball past the keeper. Brian Faria’s effort off a corner deflected off a rival player and fell into Nestor’s path, who scored the third.
