East Bengal FC will now return to action at the continental stage, as they have already qualified for the AFC Champions League Two Group Stage. They have been drawn alongside Al Hussein SC, Al Shorta SC and Al Seeb Club in Group D.

A continental battle awaits East Bengal FC, as they have qualified for the AFC Champions League Two Group Stage after beating the Kuwaiti side Al-Arabi SC at home with a scoreline of 4-1. The game went into extra time; MD Rashid, Rohit Danu, and David Himar scored crucial goals to seal the game for the Red & Gold Brigade in the extra time.
After defeating Mohun Bagan in the Durand Cup 2026 final, East Bengal are set to play in the ACL Two Group Stage against the Jordanian Pro League Champions, Al Hussein SC on Wednesday, 16th September.
East Bengal are all set to roar on the continental stage as they will now turn their attention to the ACL Two Group Stage, where they will face each of their opponent at home and away in a double round-robin format.
As things stand, the Moshal Boys will have to play six games, three at their home ground and the remaining three at an away venue, as the group stage is scheduled to kick off on 15th September 2026 and set to conclude on 9th December 2026.

While the ‘Round of 16’ games of the tournament will be played between 9th February and 18th February 2027, the final showdown of the tournament is designated for 15th May 2027.
The ISL 2026-27 season is likely to start on the 10th of October 2026, and the defending champions of the competition might look for another title as they have a formidable side.After their first fixture in the ACL Two, they will host Al Shorta SC on 13th of October, at the Vivekananda Yuva Bharati Krirangan (VYBK).
