The 77th Santosh Trophy was a grand success with many young Indian talents making headlines.
The 77th Santosh Trophy concluded with Services claiming the title for the seventh time after defeating Goa 1-0 at the Golden Jubilee Stadium on March 9, 2024.

5. Dipu Mirdha (Assam)
Dipu Mirdha was a standout player who garnered attention. The 24-year-old individual has gained valuable experience from playing for Kenkre FC and NorthEast United FC and has demonstrated his skills effectively in the tournament. With nine goals to his name, he holds the third position among the top scorers and has achieved the highest number of goals among all Assam players.
4. Shafeel P (Services)
Shafeel P was the only goal scorer in the final match, which led Services to victory in the tournament. Despite not appearing in the list of top goal scorers, he has been an influential player for Services throughout the tournament. Whenever a penalty was awarded, Shafeel has consistently been the first to step up and successfully convert it which showed his confidence in him.
3. Samir Murmu (Services)
Samir Murmu scored nine goals in the tournament and remained in second place in the list of most goal scorers. Although he wasn’t able to score any goal in the final, his contribution in the quarterfinal match against Railways was very important for his team to secure a place in the semi-final. His combination with Shafeel P at the forefront significantly influenced the outcomes of Services’ matches, proving crucial in their championship victory.
2. Phijam Sanathoi Meetei (Manipur)
Meetei has garnered significant attention as one of the most prominent players in the tournament. With 11 goals, he notably secured the position of the top goal scorer. His remarkable performance was instrumental in guiding Manipur to the semi-finals of the 2023-24 Santosh Trophy. Furthermore, he contributed two goals in the quarter-final, propelling Manipur to victory against Assam and securing their advancement in the competition.
1. Sayad bin Abdul Kadir (Services)
Two clean sheets in the last three matches exemplify Sayad bin Abdul Kadir’s exceptional performance in the tournament. His instrumental role in keeping Goa at bay during the final match culminated in a triumphant clean-sheet victory for his team. Consequently, he was honored with the best goalkeeper award in the tournament for his flamboyant performances.
